If you have had a bad experience with someone, make every effort to keep the experience to yourself.
If another one of your friends meets the same person and gets along with them, you could be seen as the bad guy. If your friend, on the other hand, has a similar bad experience, let it be because of their own personal encounter; don't let it be because you poisoned their mind, before they had an opportunity to get to know the person for themselves.
